On Wednesday, the State Attorney's Office in Florida said that prosecutors are planning to file paperwork to formally drop the misdemeanor exposure charge against Bills fullback Corey McIntyre. As another possible suspect has been arrested in a similar case, McIntyre proved to be innocent.
McIntyre was arrested last month because a woman accused him of misdemeanor exposure. While he was free on bond, McIntyre denied the charge, defending that he was out riding his bike in the area as part of his regular workout on the day that he was detained by police.
On Monday, another man was arrested for exposing himself on June 2 in the same area where McIntyre had been riding his bike. He is similar to McIntyre in black skin and dreadlocks, but totally different in shape. In later interviews, the woman also said she never saw the suspect's genitals and couldn't positively identify McIntyre as the culprit.
McIntyre told reporters that he was happy with his name being cleared and he will focus on training camp as the season is coming.
