On May 21st, the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers visited the White House. While meeting the president, he forgot to aske the president whether he had another arrangement that day.
A group of children from Stafford County, Virginia were supposed to meet the president and made a tour of the White House. This trip should have been before Steers' meeting with the president. But the president, perhaps forgot it or just considered a sports star more important than a group of kids, just did not fulfill the schedule. I did not know what the children's impression of this, but I really feel disappointed. Some one must come out and apologize to these children, who probably become sport stars, football fans or president in future.
As it is obvious that the White House administration should be responsible for this, I think the Steelers organization also needs to do something to make up for the kids' disappointment.
