The Oakland Raiders have agreed to sign a four-year contract with sixth-round pick Brandon Myers without buying bills jersey.
The tight end from Iowa is the first one among Oakland’s seven draft picks who has signed a contract. Before the deal, the Raiders already cut ties with one of their picks, releasing defensive end Stryker Sulak last week. They chose Myers because he is a blocking tight end, who was brought in to allow starting Zach Miller to spend more time as a downfield receiver.
The Raiders' plan is that they will report to training camp in Napa next Tuesday. Their practice will begin Thursday.
