Following musicians Gloria and Emilio Estefan and Marc Anthony and singer Jimmy Buffett, the Williams sisters will become the latest celebrities to own a stake in the Miami Dolphins.
The Williams sisters, who live in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., have combined to win 18 Grand Slam titles. Their joining the Dolphins will be announced at the team’s training complex next Tuesday. The event is scheduled to be hosted on Thursday by owner Stephen Ross as a “major corporate announcement”. No sure whether the sisters will wear nfl jerseys at the event.
This offseason there has been lot of news about famous people joining NFL, and I guess that means more than share of partnership. NFL owners obviously know will about the celebrity effect and has been trying to earn more by forging partnership with them.
