The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Deion Branch had another left knee operation during this offseason but this time the recovery time seems to be much shorter and Branch recently told reporters that he planned to take part in the team’s final minicamp this weekend.
“I feel good. Last year (I) did the same thing, and had it cleaned out,” Branch said on Wednesday after Seattle wrapped up its minicamp. “This year was probably a little lighter, not as intense as last year’s surgery. It’s just a normal clean out, nothing major. It’s nothing that nobody is worried about.”
Having the same surgery on the same leg with Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre, Branch said that he was confident that the quarterback in No.4 Favre jersey would also return for 2010 season with the Vikings. He regretted for having no chance to receive ball from Favre, but he would like to match him on field in NFC championship game to fight for the pass to Super Bowl XLV.
